Royal Tyrrell Museum Snore with a Dinosaur!

April 4 & 5, 2008

On Friday afternoon we drove to Drumheller for the sleepover. Traffic was so bad in Calgary, we didn't get out of town until 6 p.m. and we were supposed to check in at the museum at 6:30. We didn't arrive until 7:20 and we were the last to arrive. we were the last to get dinner of chicken strips and hamburgers.

After dinner we went and did 4 - 30 minute sessions. We soon got to unpack and get ready for bed. Lights were out about 11 p.m. with many kids giggling and goofing off till about 1:30 a.m. we woke around 6:15 to discover many people were already up and dressed. So lights came on around 6:30 and then it was the rush to get changed, packed and to breakfast. We had pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and a sausage for breakfast.

Soon after we headed in for a 30 minute movie and waited for the gift shop to open at 9:15. After that we all had free admission to wonder the exhibits before heading home. When we came out after, we discovered it was snowing huge fluffy flakes.

This is one adventure the southpaws won't soon forget!
