During this meeting Joan and I talked about the upcoming pet show which will happen on my birthday, April 14 at 1:30 at the Deerfoot Meadows Petland store.
December 13, 2006 ~ We met at Erin & Robyn's house. During this meeting we discussed & filled out various pages in our record books. We talked about making costumes for our piggies, which we will be making at our January meeting.
November 15, 2006 ~ We went to Rachel's house for a caviary tour. Rachel showed all the piggies to the girls and went over the different breeds she had, then Rachel did a demonstration on the proper way to trim the nails. After, Joan did a talk on the many different breeds of cavies.

October 18, 2006 ~ We went over our project books. Erin & Robyn did a 1st years worksheet and filled out some of the information in their books. I got to show the 1st years how to do showmanship and then they practiced.
September 28, 2006 ~ First cavy meeting at Robyn & Erin's house. We did a scrapbooking workshop where we scrapbooked pictures of our cavies. Talked about our books and Amanda did a demo on cavy showmanship for us.

September 28, 2004 ~ Here are some photos from our first cavy meeting of the year.
During the 4-H year we attended project meetings, usually 1 meeting per month where we brought our project (cavy) to the meetings. During these meetings we made cavy cages, cage covers and cavy cozies. We also practiced showmanship with our cavies, practiced our Lip Sync for 4-H on Parade. We worked on our record books & had fun together.
