Show Rules & Regulations

Show Location - Chestermere Recreation Centre, Alberta, Canada

Judges: T.B.A.

Show Times/Time Limits - Set-up 8am. Show starts at 9am. We kindly ask that everyone help keep the show running smoothly by removing your horses promptly after each class. Time limits between classes is approx. 5 minutes.

Model Limits - 2 model limit in all classes.

Judging - While judging is in progress, please respect the judge by staying away until he/she is finished judging the class.

If you have any questions, please wait until after the class has finished.

Unstable models may be placed on their sides for judging. We do ask that the owner of the horse be nearby to turn the model if the judge requests it.

Judging will be based on the following: - OF Halter - condition, conformation, breed type, color (not collectability, value, rarity or age) - CM Halter - condition, conformation, breed type, color, workmanship

Judges decisions will be final.

Labeling:
All models should be tagged with the owners name on one side and the models name, breed and gender on the other. All models when placed in the ring should be sure to have the horse's name facing up.

Please Do Not Touch anyone else's models. You must be given direct permission from the owner of the model before you touch these items. A lot of work, time & money go into showers items and everyone must respect other showers models & items. We welcome you to browse and look at others tables but please, no touching! Parents - Please watch your children. Thank You.

No Smoking or Alcoholic Beverages Allowed! - This is a fun, family event so let's keep it that way! If you'd like to smoke, you must go outside.

Lunch - We will break for one hour for lunch. You are also welcome to bring along snacks & refreshments.

Show tables - Registered showers may have items for sale at their tables.

Table Signage & Covers:
The Show Holder asks that entrants bring their own table covers with stable name on banners or signage for their tables.

Class Divisions:
Division Qualifications
Original Finish (OF) - Includes Breyer, Heartland, Peter Stone etc. Basically any model factory produced plastic model that comes painted from the factory.

Original Finish Mini (OF Mini) - Includes, stablemate, littlebit, chips & pebbles. Same rules as OF.

Custom Plastic (CM) - Includes any factory model that has been altered in any way from their original finish. This division includes Etched models, etc. This includes minis. Plastic models only, any size.

OF China, CM Glaze China & Commercial Resin - Includes Breyer china, Lakeshore china, Animal Artistry china, Hagen-Renaker, Benswick, Northlights, Black Horse Ranch etc. Basically any china/resin that comes painted from the factory.

Custom Artist Resin - Includes any factory model that has been altered in any way from their original finish. This division also includes Animal Artistry resins, R/R/H/Etched models, etc. This includes minis. China resin models only, any size.

Novice Division:
There will be no novice division at this show.

Class Order:
There will be white boards on the tables where the classes will be listed. Once a class has been judged all horses are to be removed from the table immediately, the next class will then be called.

Awards:
Various awards will be awarded. All ribbons will be recycled ribbons donated to the show.

NAMSHA Member Show: NAN Qualified
1st & 2nd place models in all Divisions will receive NAN qualification cards for 2008-2009.

Auctions:
There will be items offered for silent auction at the show.
All auction items will be added to the website as received. All items must be paid for before receiving the item.
Proxy Bidding is not allowed.

Raffle/Auction Items:
There will be various raffle and auction items at the show.

Food/Drinks:
Entrants are welcome to bring their own refreshments.

Entry Deadline:
Please have all entries returned by January 14, 2011.

Proxy Showing is allowed. $5 per model.

Accommodations:
There are hotels and motels located in Calgary & Strathmore.
